Herbals and its benefits
Alternative Medicines are otherwise knows as herbals.
For me, it is healthier to take herbals than synthetic vitamins and minerals as food supplements because of the organic and natural substances being used.
Synthetic ingredients may become dangerous in the body. Eventually, they become toxins in our body and needed to be detoxified.
Would like to share this link : http://herbally-yours.blogspot.com/ which I stumbled on recently The blogspot tackles various herbs and their benefits.

The main causes of liver damage
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver.
Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.
We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to "schedule."

Zero Limits
by Joe Vitale and Dr. Hew Len. Due out July 2007
When I first heard this story, I thought it was an urban legend. How could anyone heal anyone else by healing himself? How could even the best self-improvement master cure the criminally insane?
It didn't make any sense. It wasn't logical, so I dismissed the story.
However, I heard it again a year later. I heard that the therapist had used a Hawaiian healing process called ho 'oponopono. I had never heard of it, yet I couldn't let it leave my mind. If the story was at all true, I had to know more.
I had always understood "total responsibility" to mean that I am responsible for what I think and do. Beyond that, it's out of my hands. I think that most people think of total responsibility that way. We're responsible for what we do, not what anyone else does. The Hawaiian therapist who healed those mentally ill people would teach me an advanced new perspective about total responsibility.
His name is Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len. We probably spent an hour talking on our first phone call. I asked him to tell me the complete story of his work as a therapist. He explained that he worked at Hawaii State Hospital for four years. That ward where they kept the criminally insane was dangerous. Psychologists quit on a monthly basis. The staff called in sick a lot or simply quit. People would walk through that ward with their backs against the wall, afraid of being attacked by patients. It was not a pleasant place to live, work, or visit.
Dr. Len told me that he never saw patients. He agreed to have an office and to review their files. While he looked at those files, he would work on himself. As he worked on himself, patients began to heal.
"After a few months, patients that had to be shackled were being allowed to walk freely," he told me. "Others who had to be heavily medicated were getting off their medications. And those who had no chance of ever being released were being freed."
I was in awe.
"Not only that," he went on, "but the staff began to enjoy coming to work. Absenteeism and turnover disappeared. We ended up with more staff than we needed because patients were being released, and all the staff was showing up to work. Today, that ward is closed."
This is where I had to ask the million dollar question: "What were you doing within yourself that caused those people to change?"
"I was simply healing the part of me that created them," he said.
I didn't understand.
Dr. Len explained that total responsibility for your life means that everything in your life - simply because it is in your life--is your responsibility. In a literal sense the entire world is your creation.
Whew. This is tough to swallow. Being responsible for what I say or do is one thing. Being responsible for what everyone in my life says or does is quite another. Yet, the truth is this: if you take complete responsibility for your life, then everything you see, hear, taste, touch, or in any way experience is your responsibility because it is in your life.
This means that terrorist activity, the president, the economy--anything you experience and don't like--is up for you to heal. They don't exist, in a manner of speaking, except as projections from inside you. The problem isn't with them, it's with you, and to change them, you have to change you.
I know this is tough to grasp, let alone accept or actually live. Blame is far easier than total responsibility, but as I spoke with Dr. Len, I began to realize that healing for him and in ho 'oponopono means loving yourself. If you want to improve your life, you have to heal your life. If you want to cure anyone--even a mentally ill criminal--you do it by healing you.
I asked Dr. Len how he went about healing himself. What was he doing, exactly, when he looked at those patients' files?
"I just kept saying, 'I'm sorry' and 'I love you' over and over again," he explained.
That's it?
That's it.
Turns out that loving yourself is the greatest way to improve yourself, and as you improve yourself, your improve your world. Let me give you a quick example of how this works: one day, someone sent me an email that upset me. In the past I would have handled it by working on my emotional hot buttons or by trying to reason with the person who sent the nasty message. This time, I decided to try Dr. Len's method. I kept silently saying, "I'm sorry" and "I love you," I didn't say it to anyone in particular. I was simply evoking the spirit of love to heal within me what was creating the outer circumstance.
Within an hour I got an e-mail from the same person. He apologized for his previous message. Keep in mind that I didn't take any outward action to get that apology. I didn't even write him back. Yet, by saying "I love you," I somehow healed within me what was creating him.
I later attended a ho 'oponopono workshop run by Dr. Len. He's now 70 years old, considered a grandfatherly shaman, and is somewhat reclusive. He praised my book, The Attractor Factor. He told me that as I improve myself, my book's vibration will raise, and everyone will feel it when they read it. In short, as I improve, my readers will improve.
"What about the books that are already sold and out there?" I asked.
"They aren't out there," he explained, once again blowing my mind with his mystic wisdom. "They are still in you."
In short, there is no out there.
It would take a whole book to explain this advanced technique with the depth it deserves. Suffice it to say that whenever you want to improve anything in your life, there's only one place to look: inside you.
"When you look, do it with love."
This is a very good book, simple but empowers, gives peace of mind and heals one psyche up and emotional/spiritual being . Explore more of the ZERO LIMITS, click here. or BUY a copy for yourself and your family and friends.

What are your Top Multiple Intelligences?
Multiple Intelligences?
I'm curios, what are my reigning or top Multiple Intelligences?
To satisfy my curiosity, I took the Multiple Intelligences test.
Here's my results:
The picture above is somewhat blurred, anyways, starting from the uppermost right-side is the Linguistic, then Logical then the Interpersonal ...below is the chronological order of the pie from uppermost right-side going to the uppermost left-side.
Here are my scores ...
1. Linguistic (word smart) - 19
2. Logical (number smart) - 20
3. Interpersonal (people smart) - 15
4. Intrapersonal (myself smart) - 24
5. Musical (music smart) - 3
6. Visual/Spatial (picture smart) - 20
7. Naturalistic (nature smart) - 16
8. Kinaesthetic (body smart) - 23
If I'm to interpret the pie graph above...
My most reigning intelligence are intrapersonal (24) then kinaesthetic (23) then visual/spatial and logical (both scored 20)
This means that I am more of a self-aware person (intrapersonal) and an active or action person (kinaesthetic).
I learn and understand more if the lessons and concepts are presented to me logically and visually which I scored 20 (in both).
I'm a mountaineer. That's why I love nature because I got 16 in naturalistic intelligence.
I have the ability to handle people in various walks of life and handle their personality. I scored 15 in interpersonal.
When in comes to music...never mind...hehehe...so don't ask me what is the soundtrack of any movie or the title of any song.
How about you? What are your Top Multiple Intelligences?
Take this test and find out : Multiple Intelligences Test
After you took the test, kindly post your results under this blog article...Thanks!

Dream-Come-True Story: The instant jeepney and bus ride
==========
The instant jeepney and bus ride
By cesar bonifacio
from manila, philippines
Jeepneys in manila have different routes. The jeepney route I wanted to ride was Proj. 7
but that jeepney ride was rare because you have to wait 15 to 20 minutes. So I visualized the jeep stopping in front of me as soon as possible and there it was! I have to walk in our street to be at the main road to have a jeepney ride and as soon as I reached the main road the jeepney bound for Proj. 7 was there. I was amazed so I visualized again to have the bus that I wanted to ride when I reach Proj. 7 and again the miracle of the secret the bus that I wanted was there although It was not the bus stop. I continued to visualize riding the train without waiting (because I hate waiting) and again when I reached the station the train was in there as if it was waiting for me and as soon as I entered and sat the train started to go! To think that it is almost always impossible to find a seat that time of the morning! It is so incredible! Now I'm attracting 100,000 pesos before December 2006 and I visualizing and believing that I already have it!
Thank you guys!

Multiple Intelligences
Here's an excerpt from http://www.thomasarmstrong.com/multiple_intelligences.htm about this subject...
The theory of multiple intelligences was developed in 1983 by Dr. Howard Gardner, professor of education at Harvard University. It suggests that the traditional notion of intelligence, based on I.Q. testing, is far too limited. Instead, Dr. Gardner proposes eight different intelligences to account for a broader range of human potential in children and adults. These intelligences are:
- Linguistic intelligence ("word smart"):
- Logical-mathematical intelligence ("number/reasoning smart")
- Spatial intelligence ("picture smart")
- Bodily-Kinesthetic intelligence ("body smart")
- Musical intelligence ("music smart")
- Interpersonal intelligence ("people smart")
- Intrapersonal intelligence ("self smart")
- Naturalist intelligence ("nature smart")
Dr. Gardner says that our schools and culture focus most of their attention on linguistic and logical-mathematical intelligence. We esteem the highly articulate or logical people of our culture. However, Dr. Gardner says that we should also place equal attention on individuals who show gifts in the other intelligences: the artists, architects, musicians, naturalists, designers, dancers, therapists, entrepreneurs, and others who enrich the world in which we live. Unfortunately, many children who have these gifts don’t receive much reinforcement for them in school. Many of these kids, in fact, end up being labeled "learning disabled," "ADD (attention deficit disorder," or simply underachievers, when their unique ways of thinking and learning aren’t addressed by a heavily linguistic or logical-mathematical classroom. The theory of multiple intelligences proposes a major transformation in the way our schools are run. It suggests that teachers be trained to present their lessons in a wide variety of ways using music, cooperative learning, art activities, role play, multimedia, field trips, inner reflection, and much more. The good news is that the theory of multiple intelligences has grabbed the attention of many educators around the country, and hundreds of schools are currently using its philosophy to redesign the way it educates children. The bad news is that there are thousands of schools still out there that teach in the same old dull way, through dry lectures, and boring worksheets and textbooks. The challenge is to get this information out to many more teachers, school administrators, and others who work with children, so that each child has the opportunity to learn in ways harmonious with their unique minds.
The theory of multiple intelligences also has strong implications for adult learning and development. Many adults find themselves in jobs that do not make optimal use of their most highly developed intelligences (for example, the highly bodily-kinesthetic individual who is stuck in a linguistic or logical desk-job when he or she would be much happier in a job where they could move around, such as a recreational leader, a forest ranger, or physical therapist). The theory of multiple intelligences gives adults a whole new way to look at their lives, examining potentials that they left behind in their childhood (such as a love for art or drama) but now have the opportunity to develop through courses, hobbies, or other programs of self-development.
How to Teach or Learn Anything 8 Different Ways
One of the most remarkable features of the theory of multiple intelligences is how it provides eight different potential pathways to learning. If a teacher is having difficulty reaching a student in the more traditional linguistic or logical ways of instruction, the theory of multiple intelligences suggests several other ways in which the material might be presented to facilitate effective learning. Whether you are a kindergarten teacher, a graduate school instructor, or an adult learner seeking better ways of pursuing self-study on any subject of interest, the same basic guidelines apply. Whatever you are teaching or learning, see how you might connect it with
- words (linguistic intelligence)
- numbers or logic (logical-mathematical intelligence)
- pictures (spatial intelligence)
- music (musical intelligence)
- self-reflection (intrapersonal intelligence)
- a physical experience (bodily-kinesthetic intelligence)
- a social experience (interpersonal intelligence), and/or
- an experience in the natural world. (naturalist intelligence)
For example, if you’re teaching or learning about the law of supply and demand in economics, you might read about it (linguistic), study mathematical formulas that express it (logical-mathematical), examine a graphic chart that illustrates the principle (spatial), observe the law in the natural world (naturalist) or in the human world of commerce (interpersonal); examine the law in terms of your own body [e.g. when you supply your body with lots of food, the hunger demand goes down; when there's very little supply, your stomach's demand for food goes way up and you get hungry] (bodily-kinesthetic and intrapersonal); and/or write a song (or find an existing song) that demonstrates the law (perhaps Dylan's "Too Much of Nothing?").
You don’t have to teach or learn something in all eight ways, just see what the possibilities are, and then decide which particular pathways interest you the most, or seem to be the most effective teaching or learning tools. The theory of multiple intelligences is so intriguing because it expands our horizon of available teaching/learning tools beyond the conventional linguistic and logical methods used in most schools (e.g. lecture, textbooks, writing assignments, formulas, etc.). To get started, put the topic of whatever you’re interested in teaching or learning about in the center of a blank sheet of paper, and draw eight straight lines or "spokes" radiating out from this topic. Label each line with a different intelligence. Then start brainstorming ideas for teaching or learning that topic and write down ideas next to each intelligence (this is a spatial-linguistic approach of brainstorming; you might want to do this in other ways as well, using a tape-recorder, having a group brainstorming session, etc.). Have fun!

Brain Damaging Habits
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level.
This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.
2. Overeating
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.
3. Smoking
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.
4. High Sugar consumption
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.
5. Air Pollution
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.
6. Sleep Deprivation
Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.
7. Head covered while sleeping
Sleeping with the head covered increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.
8. Working your brain during illness
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.
9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.
10. Talking Rarely
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain

Do you believe in DESTINY?
Out of nowhere, this friend, suddenly ask me, Do you believe in destiny?
Deep inside I'm wondering why will this friend ask me that.
I answered, NO. I DO NOT BELIEVE IN DESTINY.
Then, I said, I will not be planning about my next move or action if I'm destined to be so rich later (hehehe) .
She replied, there are people who believe in destiny because it happens.
I said, What you believe about yourself is what you will become.
If the person believes that he is destined to live a poor and miserable life then he will become poor and miserable. Likewise, if the person believes he will have limitless abundance, then he'll live in prosperity. What you believe in will happen to you. That's why others believe that destiny is real. They became what they believed in.
I replied further, what I believe is that I am a child of God not a servant.
Since my friend have a child already, I further added, you already have a child. You are now a parent. Deep within you is a longing of giving everything within your power to your dear child.
God is the same. He will give what His Children ask from Him.
There are people around us who seemed so blessed. Why? Because these people are asking and praying for BIG blessings. So, when praying for wealth and big blessings don't feel guilty, ashamed or bad. We are children of God. We are entitled for that BIG BIG blessings.
God is full of abundance. He can give anything we want. He is limitless. And, He is very willing to give and shower us with abundance.
That's what I believe!

Reasons for sleeping and waking up early.
Evening at 9 - 11pm:
It is the time for eliminating unnecessary/ toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes).
This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health.
Evening at 11pm - 1am:
It is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 1 - 3am:
In this time, detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 3 - 5am:
In this time, detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.
Morning 5 - 7am:
In this time, detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.
Morning 7 - 9am:
It is the absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time.
Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick.
Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit.
Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 - 10am rather than no meal at all.
Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

Sources of Passive Income: Investor (Part 3) - Real Asset Investing
Real Asset is an accounting terminology by the way.
They are the properties like house, apartment, condominium, building, resorts and the like.
Real Asset Investing is also known as Real Estate Investing.
We acquire foreclosed properties and then we have them leased to others for a long period of time.
When we acquire foreclosed properties, normally, banks let's us pay them for more than 10 years. What we do is we have the properties leased or rented for a long period of time and we have them rented/leased above our amortization payments.
At the end of our payment period to the banks, the properties are already ours. Yes, titles transferred to our names. And we are enjoying continuing rental income from our tenants.
Is it good? or is it great?

Sources of Passive Income: Investor (Part 2) - Paper Investments
Of course, to those investments which will yield higher than 7% or inflation rate so as not to lose the money to inflation.
What are those investments that will yield higher?
They are everywhere!
We either invests in paper investments and/or real asset investing.
What are paper investments?
These are the investments in mutual funds, stocks, marketable securities, government securities, treasury bills, bonds and the like.
Even, the economy is not at its peak, the mutual fund investors earn around 20% last year.
Is it good? Or it is great?

Sources of Passive Income: Investor (Part 1)
To earn money and retire someday, right?
How do we retire?
Work, work and work until we reach the age of retirement, that is 60years old for women and 65 years old for men.
We work until retirement age to get our retirement benefits from the company.
And then, we build up a small business or invest the money.
Ultimately, we invest our hard-earned money, the money we worked hard for until we age between 60 and 65 years old.
Where we should invest? Where we should put our hard earned money?
In the banks?
Those who thought of putting the money in the bank, goodluck to you!
Just a little finance 101 or banking 101...
Annually our money in the bank earns bet 2% to 4% depending on the type of account you have.
Annually too, the inflation rate is going higher and higher. The last inflation rate was around 7%.
Now, just a little mathematics...
We earn between 2 to 4%
And, our money losses value by 7%
Bottom line, our money in the bank losses between 3% to 5% annually.
And we call putting our money in the bank as "our savings in the bank."
To be continued.

Sources of Passive Income: Business Owner
Business Owner's referred here are those Big Employers. Those who owns Big Corporations or Group-of-Companies.
The way I understand Business Owner’s world is that their businesses started half a century ago or more. Those century-old businesses were started by their great, great grandparents. Of course the great, great grandparents usually started small and fought their way up. And these businesses were once-upon-a-time a small business and eventually grew to a gigantic conglomerate of businesses.
And, now they are those who influence and sometimes dictate the economy.
Wow! Meaning, if we started today, our next-generation bloodlines may end up as one of the giants of the business world!

Sources of Active Income: Self-Employed or Professional
One day, while having a conversation with a new found friend, He asked me what is my profession.
I said, “I am an Accountant.”
“Oh!” said the person, “it’s one of the most difficult courses! Only few pass the board examination in your field.”
“Would you mind if I ask?” “Are you already a board passer?”
I said, “Yes! In fact, I have two certifications in two Accounting fields. I’m a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant. I passed the first and got an exemption to the second. I am exempted from taking a Global examination.
Wow! You must be good, he replied. “Not at all,” I answer, “I think I’m lucky and blessed, I asked for it in my prayers and my prayers were answered.”
“But you know what?”
“What?”
“I realized Jim Rohn is right.”
“Formal Education will give you a Living;
Self Education will bring you a Fortune.”
“Meaning, even if I start practicing my profession on my own or build a consulting firm today or be self-employed today, it will not bring me the FORTUNE or life I want to live.”
“I want to have both the time and money!”
“I may have the money but not the time or I may have the time but not the money.”
If I decided to be in a Self-Employment group today, here’s what I realize…
….“Income is based on the outcome or the result of my service. If I have NO WORK RESULTS, I will NOT RECEIVE PAYMENT from clients.”
… “I need to put in more time to produce or provide more outcome/results to increase my income.”
…“What’s risky is if I did not make well, I won’t have money to put in my retirement fund.”
…“I have to absorb all of the costs/expenses being on my own.”
…“ No Boss. Yes! But I have to face all the problems alone.”
…“And, when I want to go on vacation, I can not go on leave! I can not leave behind my practice or my firm.”
What a way of life? Huh!
Thanks God! I have a choice!
Currently, I'm working out five streams of passive income so in five year's time I'm out of the corporate world and enjoy my financial freedom.

Sources of Active Income: Get a Job, Get Employed, Be an Employee
- Fixed income per month. No Work-No Pay (for the non-regulars)
- Increase in income is about 5-15% per year.
- Significant increase in income occurs when promoted or pirated.
- Need to work for a multinational or big company, retirement may come with a lump sum amount (1-1.5 month salary/year of service.
- Used to be a SECURED way of earning. However, with the trend towards company mergers, spin-off and consolidation, Job Security is becoming the thing of the past.
Kahit CEO pa ang posisyon, still Company Employee Only pa rin ako (even the position is CEO, still it is a Company Employee Only position)
Moreso, if an employee got hold of a Management and UP positions, precious time is traded off with the quantity and quality time that should have been spent with the family. Sometimes, a trade-off with a relaxing, refreshing and revitalizing sleep. No wonder, we encounter managers or executives who are maiinit ang ulo and masusungit (mean headed) kasi kulang sa tulog (because of lack of sleep).
One more sad thing, especially to those who are working abroad and leaving their family in their home country, people are leaving a spouse or a partner and/or children to work abroad. Over the years, we are changing and growing. And we are not part of that changing times of our love ones. Consequently, common painful outcomes abound: the children do not know personally who their parents are or a spouse/partner eloped with someone else. Why? because we do not have bonding moments with them. We (the us, who are working abroad/away) are not around, when they needed us the most. We are not around when they need our helping hand or they need a shoulder to cry on. The one working away with the family and the love ones/family who are left behind do not have the time together in facing/overcoming challenging moments of their lives. Painful and tear jerking, isn't it?
Worst of all, over or excess time spent working in the office/job is traded off with the time that should have been spent in developing ourselves, improving our life, working on our financial freedom so we can do what we want like travelling around the world, cruising the carribean or climbing the Alaska glaciers with our family. Or devote some time for doing philanthropic activities like giving free time in teaching street children so they can build better future for themselves. That way we contribute to the betterment of the Earth we live in.
So, Good luck to us employees in living our lives in the invisible prison of the employment world!
That's why I am educating myself about Financial Intelligence and Financial Freedom. You should, too!
Imagine the cost of ignorance. Imagine the price that we have to pay simply because we lack the financial intelligence and we are not financially free.
Give up the excuse of not having! There's a way out!
Take 100% responsibility of your finances!
Start educating yourself NOW!

Active Income versus Passive Income
Wow! I'm amaze with the wisdom of these couple. They have a heart in helping people to be aware and conscious about personal finance and financial freedom.
The way I understand their books, here's what they want to convey:
Active Income | Passive Income |
Income is earned from Activity | Income is earned from the development or acquisition of Assets |
Income is proportional to time spent | Income is INDEPENDENT of TIME |
Typically, you work for 40 hours/per week 40 years. | Retirement is a function of Passive Income not Time. |
CashFlow Quadrant | |
Active Income | Passive Income |
Left Side of the Quadrant | Right Side of the Quadrant |
90% of the people earns 10% of the wealth | 10% of the people earns 90% of the wealth |
Activity-based or Active income ( you work for money) | Asset-based or Passive/On-going income ( money works for you ) |
For self education on Financial Intelligence and Financial Freedom, I suggest you get hold of Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and Rich Woman by Kim Kiyosaki books.
Likewise, thank you to the following Empowered Pinoy, for their desires and efforts in helping us free ourselves financially.

Let's Get Organized with Perfect Melancholy
This article tells the description, strengths and weaknesses of a Melancholy Person...still in verbatim ...in the words of Florence Littauer, author of Personality Plus....
======
Oh, how the world needs Perfect Melancholy!
The depth to see into the heart and soul of life.
The artistic nature to appreciate the beauty of the world.
The talent to create a masterpiece where nothing existed before.
The ability to analyze and arrive at the proper solution.
The eye for detail while others do shoddy work.
The aim to finish what they start.
The pledge, "If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right."
The desire to do" all things decently and in order."
Perfect Melancholies are the thinkers. They are people who are serious of purpose, dedicated to order and organization, and appreciative of beauty and intelligence. They don't dash off in search of excitement but analyze the best plan for their lives. Without Perfect Melancholies, we would have little poetry, art, literature, philosophy or symphonies. We would be missing the culture, refinement, taste, and talent so deep within our natures. We would have fewer engineers, inventors, scientist; our ledgers might be lost and our columns wouldn't balance.
Perfect Melancholies are the soul, the mind, the spirit, the heart of humanity.

Take 100% Responsibility of Your Life
Wow! The book is full of insights!
I'm writing here the insights that I highlighted in the book... read on...
Chapter 1 : TAKE 100% RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR LIFE
A pervasive myth: We are entitled to a great life -- that somehow, somewhere, someone (certainly not us) is responsible for filling our lives with continual happiness, exciting career options, nurturing family time, and blissful personal relationships simply because we exist.
But the real truth is that there is only one person responsible for the quality of the life you live. That person is YOU.
It is time to stop looking outside yourself for the answers to why you haven't created the life and results you want, for it is you who creates the quality of the life you lead and the results you produce. You--no one else.
To achieve major success in life--to achieve those things that are most important to you--you must take 100% responsibility for your life. Nothing less will do.
Taking 100% responsibility means you acknowledge that you create everything that happens to you. It means you understand that you are the cause of all of your experience. If you want to be really successful then you will have to give up blaming and complaining and take total responsibility for your life--that means all your results, both successes and failures. That is the prerequisite for creating a life of success. It is only by acknowledging that you have created everything up until now that you can take charge of creating the future you want.
If you realize that you have created your current conditions, then you can uncreate them and re-create them at will.
Everything you experience in life--both internally and externally--is the result of how you have responded to a previous event.
If you keep on doing what you've always done, you'll keep on getting what you've always got.
Insanity or stupidity is doing the same over and over again and expecting different results.
The day you change your responses is the day your life will begin to get better!
